Reflect, Reflect, Reflect

It's around this time of year that some people start to think about the past year and all that has happened. I am not the best with slowing down and reflecting on the past year but I think it is super valuable. No matter the time of year, taking a step back and just reflecting on how things are going every so often can be super valuable. Are you still taking the steps you want to take? if you have a long term goal, are you actually living your life and making steps to do that or are you just kind of going with the flow? Goals and achievements won't just magically happen unless you consciously take the time and do the steps. We have a tendency to just do the easier thing especially when we are tired and under a lot of stress. This is not necessarily bad but just being aware of this is important. Reflecting on the past year can help you to see what went well and at the same time, you can take note of things you would like to improve on going into the upcoming year. Are you becoming more like the person you want to be? I think that is one of the driving questions and something that is good to think about going into a new year.
