Resilience Part Two: Achievement Through Repetition

Today is part two of what I wrote about on 8/7 about resilience. Doing hard things is a challenge, no doubt about it. We often build up future things in our mind which can make them feel even bigger than they actually are. Most things worth achieving are hard. However, when you put yourself in situations where you can grow and actually do the things you are scared of, you will actually see a lot of progress. If you put yourself in uncomfortable situations over time, you will get used to them. You will grow from those experiences to the point where many of those things will be easy for you. Daunting things are often only scary because we are unfamiliar with them. If you do something all the time, it will no longer be scary, and it will get easier as you do it again and again. It's pretty simple in theory, but very hard to actually put yourself in those tough situations to allow yourself to succeed. However, growth is found on the other side of those challenging situations.
