If there's one thing I've learned from medical school it's that consistency over long periods is what brings progress. Results hardly ever come overnight or from making a gigantic effort at one period of time. Even things that do seem like overnight successes usually have people working on them for a long time. Putting in the work every single day is not fun and oftentimes it feels like nothing is getting done. However, with each day that you set the right habits and do the right things you are building a better future and are getting closer and closer to achieving your goals. Whether you are in school, work, trying to get better at something, or improving your health this will apply. Keep stacking the small wins and the consistency over days, months, and years and you will be amazed at the results.
