Stop Being "BUSY"

Let's just start off by saying that everyone is busy. We all work, go to school, or have a million other commitments to do. You hear people say all the time, "Oh, I'm too busy to do that." Maybe they are actually busy, and the amount of stuff we can feasibly do varies from person to person. But for the majority of us, a lot of the time, being busy is just an excuse because we don't want to do something. We should never try to be busy in our lives; that is never thought of as a good thing. If you are doing things you like and choose to do, it's not often described as "I'm busy." If you want to do something, you will do it, whether that's watching TV, playing on your phone, or going to the gym. We are going to make time to brush our teeth, eat food, and do other basic life things. When you decide to do something, it should be an immediate yes, and you actually want to do it, or say no, you don't want to do it. Being busy is just an excuse, and it isn't actually helpful. Decide what matters most to you and put your priorities in place to achieve those. That way, when a new opportunity arises, you can see if it aligns—and if not, you decide you don't want to do it, not because you're "busy" but because it doesn't align with your values/goals. :)
