Whether you like to wake up early or not, the morning is a crucial time of your day. It sets the tone for what you are going to do that day and what you can accomplish. No matter what time you get up, implementing some of these principles will be super valuable. These are just a few things that I have tried over the years and have found to be the most helpful (these are just a few, there are many others you could try that I'm sure would be beneficial). I don't do them all the time, but I know they work and I feel my best when I do.

  1. Wake up at a consistent time each day (don't deviate by more than an hour even on the weekend)

  2. Hydration (counteracts nightly dehydration and has many other positive effects)

  3. Exercise or stretching (get the blood flowing and naturally boost your energy)

  4. Get Light Exposure (going outside for a walk or anything to get light exposure that will help you fully wake up)

  5. Prayer or meditation (helps to center you and start the day on the right foot)

  6. Reading/listening to something inspiring or that you're passionate about

  7. Review your plan or goals for that day to ensure you stay on target

"Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise." Benjamin Franklin.
