Exercise Snacks

The lives most of us live are very sedentary. We wake up, drive to work, and sit down at our desks. We drive back home and sit down to eat dinner or watch TV. Even the people who are early risers and go to the gym can still fall into this trap of little movement throughout the day. This is a super easy routine to fall into and we do it without really having to think about it. However, our bodies weren't made to be sitting for that long. We need to get more movement into our lives wherever we can. This could be simple things like getting up from your desk every hour or so and walking around or doing some jumping jacks. Going on a short walk during your lunch break or when you get home from work. Even though getting regular exercise at the gym is extremely important, this movement throughout the day is also really good for us. I know it is hard but maybe you can try and think of just so small ways you can increase your activity levels. It will help you feel better and your body will thank you for it. :)
