It's really hard in the wintertime to keep the motivation to exercise. When it is very cold outside it makes it difficult to go outside for a run or a walk. It is also a challenge to go to the gym when you would rather stay warm at home. Although this is understandable, exercising consistently is crucial for our health and can improve every aspect of our lives. One way to do this is to have an accountability partner who encourages you or exercises with you so that you don't skip during difficult times. Another thing you can do is to try and do family activities or sports where you can get in some activity without really "working out." Working out at home is easier than ever with hundreds of workout apps or YouTube that are more accessible than ever. Getting started and forming a routine are the most difficult parts, but developing a solid exercise plan and being consistent is always going to pay off in the long run. Instead of saying you will do it tomorrow, give it a try today!!
