Today’s blog post is going to be a little different; I’m going to suggest some books I’ve been enjoying recently rather than writing about a topic I’ve been thinking about.
Made for People by Justin Whitmel EarleyThis is one that I’m currently listening to as an audiobook, and I’ve been really enjoying it. It’s all about friendship, how we live our lives with others, and the importance of forming close relationships. He discusses the benefits of prioritizing friendship and doing life with others. Especially in today’s world, where more and more people are turning to social media and online connections, it’s important now more than ever to invest in friendships and build new ones when possible.
Better Than Before by Gretchen RubinThis is a book about habits, and there are some great tips throughout. However, where this book really shines is in how it helps describe different types of people and what works best for them. Based on your personality, there are things that may work for you but not for someone else. This book takes a personalized approach to habits, and I found it very beneficial and really enjoyed reading it.
Honorable Mentions:
Outlive: The Science of Longevity by Peter Attia (not on the main list since I recommended it a few weeks ago)
The Comfort Crisis by Michael Easter
Make Time: How to Focus on What Matters Every Day by Jake Knapp & John Zeratsky
