Being Intentional

If we are not careful, it can be easy to get so caught up in the business around us that life passes us by. I know for me personally, this last year has just been a blur. Sometimes, we fall into this path of doing the easier things and not thinking about what we are doing or who we are with. This is one area I've been thinking about; the idea of being intentional with my time and making sure to make the effort, even if it's hard, to do the things that matter most. Making those around us feel heard and seen is something we all can do, but it is so easy to only give part of our attention. This can also be used for things you want to achieve, being intentional and putting together a plan of how to get there will pay off. Rather than slipping into the easier thing, you can make the conscious effort to choose the things that will make the difference. I would encourage you to think about this because it's only natural that we do the easier thing most of the time. However, sometimes we need to take the harder path and think about our actions and what we are doing each day.
