The Parable of the Talents

We are all given different skills and things at which we are naturally good. It can sometimes be a lifelong journey to find what you are good at and what you can make a difference doing. Although we will still need to work hard throughout our lives, we have been given many gifts. Some people might have more opportunities than others, but most of us still have special gifts and abilities. Whether we choose to use these gifts or not is up to us. Our time here on this earth is relatively short in the grand scheme of things, so we should always strive to make a difference and use our gifts where we can. It's not as much about the number of things you were able to accomplish, but what you did with what you were given. If you used what you had wisely and did the best that you could. To quote Uncle Ben from Spider-Man, "With great power comes great responsibility." Although this is just a quote from a movie, it can still be applied in that we all have a responsibility to contribute and use the gifts we have been given.
