Keeping it Simple with Small Habits

This past week I was talking to a friend and our conversation made me think about habit formation and completing what we set out to do. Sometimes we might really want to create a new habit or try something new and we might have the best intentions but it never actually happens. I know I have to write stuff down or set reminders when I am trying to create new habits, if I don't I just won't do it. Along with this, I truly believe that when you are doing something, just beginning is the key to developing the habit. That is why I called this blog small steps for improvement because success or achieving our goals can only come if we sit down and start what we intend to do. Just that in itself is one of the hardest things to do. So I challenge you today if there is something you want to do but have been putting it off just sit down and do it for five minutes and form that habit, I'm sure you will be happily surprised with the results.
