Finding Your Why

A lot of the things we set out to do are really hard. It is daunting to set large goals and then try to figure out how to achieve them. It is a lot easier to take the simpler road, which may not be the healthiest or the best option in the long run. It can be hard to find the motivation to do the right thing when you are tired or you don't feel like it. Something I have been thinking about recently is that if you want to do something or achieve a big goal, you have to come up with a strong why. If you have a reason for doing something, it makes the process a whole lot better. The day-to-day might still be a challenge but you know there is a purpose. This can give you the drive to keep going even when life gets tough. So next time you want to achieve something great remember that it won't be easy and there will be days when you don't want to make any progress, but just try and remember why you chose to do it in the first place and it will make those hard days a little bit better. This is something I have to think about a lot and maybe it will help you out as well.
