It is so easy to get into the habit of being a passive consumer, we do it all the time. Although this can be good in some situations, we really need to evaluate ourselves and think about what good we are doing for those around us. I have been thinking about this a lot myself, and I always want to be someone who is trying to give more than I take. It is so easy to fall into the trap of consuming, it is often our default setting.
This is one of the reasons why I started writing in the first place, it's because I want to make a difference and help other people in a small way. There are some people who always give of themselves and this doesn't necessarily apply to them, those people might need to recharge. However, for the rest of us, I would challenge you to try and go the extra mile to be there for people and put more good out into this world. I know I am going to fail, and it is a hard thing to do, but just making an effort is all the difference. See if you can give it a try today :)
